With all the races canceled and stress imposed by the unknown, we want to help you to stay motivated! While we are supposed to stay away from each other to prevent the spread of the virus, getting outside and being active are crucial for keeping our immune system in good shape! It can be done either on a short hill next to your house or in big mountains.
Challenge yourself but don't put yourself at a risk of dealing with overwhelmed medical services!
You can participate in any race at any time. All of them are always ON. The awards will be given during the scheduled period, though. However, if you break the current record, you can count on being awarded.
We just started the 24H Vert Is Real Challenge! Get ready for a great adventure! Test your limit and have some fun doing unusual things. Choose between hill repeats, or if your local conditions allow, go to mountains and spend a whole day climbing as much as possible. And you can define what's possible. Remember, "When you think that you are done, you're only 40% in to what your body's capable of doing. That's just the limits that we put on ourselves.”
Thanks to generous donors and sponsors we are able to offer additional cash awards for the first person who establishes a record. Only 1 award will be granted to the best result on June 6th. If no records are broken, the copetion will continue beyond June 5th.
Keep in mind that this has never been done before. Nose to the grindstone and you too could make history! If you are attempting to braek any of these records, please contact us before hand to ensure the validity of your result.
Springathlon participants took social distancing to the next level! Vert Is Real Challenge got out of control and resulted in some mind bugling performances. \r\nWhile we are impressed with the results, our intention was to give you an opportunity to challenge yourself and have fun. Runners can adapt to any conditions and find their way. They proved that while staying safe and distancing themself, they still can do what they love. We saw everything from running up and down stair flys through running a short hill to big runs in high mountains. Congrats to everyone who participated! You gain strength and confidence that will pay off in the future.
